You 22nd instant (16105) and enclosures, relative to Hong Kong Ordinance No. 4 of 1913 to amend the Lercantile Bank Note Issue Ordinance of 1911, I am directed by the Lords Commis- sioners of His Majesty's Treasury to say that They presume that Mr.Secretary Harcourt will request the Governor of Hong Kong to remedy the defect pointed out in Lr.Harcourt's despatch to him of the 21st instant by taking steps for the introduction of a further amending Ordinance.
